Okay this one is worth a mention. On my first post, I’ve said that the Sweet and Sour Chicken is the best there is, but this fried chicken deserves an honorable mention. The crispness it produce when you bite it is simply wonderful. Perfectly seasoned as well. All of my post until now is taken at Social Affair Cafe at Jakarta, Indonesia.

Pork Mac n Cheese

This right here is one of my fav food in the whole world: Mac n Cheese. But for this dish, I would give it a 6/10 since the cheese and cream tasted on the sour side, not as salty and cheesy as I hoped for. The pork is hard as well, hurting my teeth as I chew:( But overall it is a good meal.

I’m new to Hinterland so I would like to share my first food post since food is a passion of mine. 

Here is a Sweet and Sour Fried Chicken with Garlic Salad on the sides served with rice. I ate this at a cafe (presumably) called Social Affair at Jakarta, Indonesia. It’s the best sweet and sour chicken i’ve eaten (and i’ve eaten a lot of it).

Bharat Spice, Cebu review

I recently tried Indian food for the first time and it was good. I went to a restaurant in Cebu called Bharat Spice. I know it’s not as authentic as trying the cuisine in India but it is the closest I can get. The owner was a friendly Indian man but one thing I can say about the food is it was glorious. I can’t believe I missed out on it for 22 years! It was the right amount of spicy and savoury. I’m definitely trying it again!
