Ah you

I want to tell you, I want to scream it into a void, I want to whisper it in the dark, to write it on parchment, to wrap it in ribbon and send it your way. But I can’t, won’t. And so i dwell on it, that ache. I let it seep into my bones, I let it cloud my mind, consume my heart. But I pray. For courage, for love, for a returned adoration. I pray for you.
