I feel like the people who deem what is and is not a "gateway drug" have never even tried these drugs. Personally I believe that the whole "gateway" into drugs and the addiction is a persons self-esteem, upbringing and view on life. You will always see people blaming substances for addiction - But majority of these substances are not legal, meaning an individual actually has to go out of their way to buy them. Instead of blaming drug addiction on alcohol, marijuana or any other substance. I think we should blame many other things that factor into what makes a person try drugs. Just food for thought.
