Horror Manga Ito Junji

Have you heard about Ito Junji? The famous mangaka that known as "The King of Horror". Why he has that nickname? His works full of horror and thriller that will make you amazed.

But, who is Ito Junji? Ito Junji (伊藤 潤二, born July 31, 1963) is a Japanese horror manga artist. Some of his most notable works include Tomie, a series chronicling an immortal girl who drives her stricken admirers to madness; Uzumaki, a three-volume series about a town obsessed with spirals; and Gyo, a two-volume story where fish are controlled by a strain of sentient bacteria called "the death stench." His other works are Itou Junji Kyoufu Manga Collection, a collection of different short stories including a series of stories named Souichi's Journal of Delights, and Itou Junji No Neko Nikki: Yon and Mu, a self-parody about him and his wife living in a house with two cats.

What's so special about him? His works have adaptations. For example: Tomie has about 8 or 9 adaptations, Uzumaki has adaptation too, and for Gyo and his collection have anime adaptations. How cool is that right?

His artwork has that old horror style which was perfectly fitted with his series. He also could manage the pages so when you turned over, you could get the horror shock. His works not just inspires mangakas, but also make up artists.
