White seatbelt skort - Missguided review
Back in January, for my 21st I purchased the Missguided seatbelt skort, or buckle shorts-whatever they are referring to it now as and I must say I 10/10 recommend. These costed me, at the time $15 AUD and I loved them so much I went back and bought them in black (review coming soon). They are nice thick-but not heavy material and are double lined which only shows in harsh lighting as you can see in the picture provided below.
This solves the classic “oh no, I bought something white online and it is completely see-through” drama that we all know so well.
This piece was my staple clubbing outfit because as someone who wears shorts under her skirts I enjoy being able to not stress on a windy day or always sit like a lady, let alone be restricted of the minimal dance moves of being trapped in a pencil skirt at the club. So a skort was indeed the perfect solution. However because it’s white, after a bit of a slip on some alcohol landed me on my butt in the nightclub one night, resulting in some rather interesting stains, let’s just say i only recommend the black skort for that occasion and see this piece as one that’s made for fancy dinners.
Too bad they don’t advertise these skorts better because they really are flattering! Here’s a picture of when I first tried them on for reference-paired with a white satin bodysuit that’s also from Missguided (review also coming soon).
The compliments I got on my all white outfit paired with a nice tan were endless.
