AFL - Round 6
After a sub-par round in footy the biggest headline to come out was the Mark ‘Bomber’ Thompson scandal.
Aside from that, talking footy, not much really happened did it? All the expected teams won with Friday night footy a stinker. With the exception of the Geelong Sydney game and the Western Derby.
Sydney have proven they don’t need Buddy to win a game of footy, Richmond suddenly have been tagged as ‘unbeatable’ regardless of losing to Adelaide in round 2 and only beating Collingwood. The Giants are looking a little shaky also, with a 33 point win against the Lions.
6 rounds in and whilst the ladder is taking shape we still cannot say for sure who the good teams and the bad teams are.
Games to watch this week are:
Geelong vs GWS on Friday Night, where we will see where both teams are at.
Eagles vs Port on Saturday arvo for the same reason.
Richmond vs Freo on Sunday to get a look at where Freo are really at.
This has been another footy article by yours truly, please leave some feedback and possible additions, maybe some help with the footy tips?
See you all next Round!
I’m bummed the pies lost but it was always gonna happen, they looked so tired. Eagles on a tear thou, even if it was a close score
After the short turn around it was impressive to see the pies stay with Richmond. I was at the derby yeah, they didn’t seem ‘incredible’ but we will see against Port.
