Hide Yourself From Your Laptop

Have you seen movies where a person is spied on through the camera of their own laptop? And how does that make you feel? Scared? Irrational? Paranoid? Well, don't be.

Here is a cool!, DO-IT-YOURSELF, decoration that you could use to cover the camera of your laptop and protect yourself from being watched. All what you need is a 1 by 1 paper of a minimum of 80 mm in length.

Step One Measure the top of your laptop down to the camera lens. Take that measurement and add 5. You should have n + 5.

Make a mark on the (n + 5) mm from the corner of the paper with a pencil. Then, measure the width of the top of your laptop. Take that measurement and mark it from the first mark you made. It should look something like this.

Step Two Using these markers as guides, align the ends of the ruler on both sides of the markers and make a fold.

After folding all markers, it should look something like this.

Step Three Design it! The paper I have is plain and boring. It needs some spark to it. Sooo....

Take a tape and make it sticky all around by taking one end of it and sticking it back to itself. Then stick it onto the back of the paper. Position the paper on the computer where you want it and stick it on. Like this...

Fold this flap of the paper up and you'll be seen otherwise fold it down and be hidden.
