Philippine Tour: Southern People went North, ILOCOS

Many people from the city want to experience a quick time travel from the past to escape the stress of daily living and see what kind of heritage our current generation missed. Do you think it's impossible to time travel? ~ well, I must say that WE CAN TIME TRAVEL! But the inner you asking how?

Ruins, old houses, monuments and many other forms of landmarks are trademarks of a place that left a historical piece all people could commemorate and one of the best place that could make you feel the nostalgia is the astounding ILOCOS province. This is well-known by its very historical street named "Calle Crisologo" which took part a big role in Philippine history. There you can find handcrafted objects and art pieces made by their very own people and not only that, you can re-live the spanish colonial era with their still sturdy row houses which they are popular at. Last November 14, me and my friends had a 2-day trip in the said place and it was my first time there. With so many artsy exterior designs of old houses, (which some already had a makeover done) it took us almost an hour to take good photos. See the photo samples below.

I would recommend everyone to never miss to visit Calle Crisologo since it is also a one stop shop of sugar, spice and everything nice ๐Ÿ˜Š.

If you're up for an extreme adventure that could make your adrenaline rise to it's maximum capacity then you have to visit Paoay Sand dunes. To give you a sypnosis, this place used to shoot amazing Filipino movies that bags plenty of awards both international and local. Movies like "Ang Panday" by Fernando Poe Jr and "Himala" by Nora Aunor were taken in this amazing place. This is now open to public and extreme activities are also present so that you can have freat memories with sand which totally not can only be seen in beaches. 4X4 extreme ride and sand surfing is the main activities which you can enjoy by you and your family and friends.

Of course Paoay sand dunes will never be Paoay without its church. The place will amaze you with its beauty, best time to visit the place is after dawn. We missed to go inside the church cause we only have limited time but we get to take pictures of the outside.

With these photos I'm pretty sure that you're already planning for your next trip. Light is our guide and without it, you may be lost in the dark but not when you're around "Cape Bojeador". This old, cozy light house has many stories that can bring you goosebumps but when we got there, it feels normal and as always it's perfect for instagram photos and we recommend this place for prenup photo shoots too. Below are the shots we took around the area.
