Connor McGregor VS Khabib Nurmegomedov -
So I just finished watching the McGregor and Khabib fight so I thought I’d write a brief for fellow friends. I had never followed or been a die hard fan of boxing or UFC. My only exposure to it would have been playing UFC UNDISPUTED on PS3 ... lel.
But now, having just watched the fight, let me give you a break down of what happened and what I learnt. I also want to leave a question to the community here at the end.
The Event: Connor McGregor (Irish) VS Khabib Nurmegomedov (Russian)
Was there blood: No. No blood, not in the literal sense anyway. Definitely some bad blood though.
What happened: Khabib put McGregor into submission. Khabib won.
The fight is not over. So after asking my fellow watchers ... the story is a lot deeper.
Now as you’re reading, know this: McGregor and Khabib are in court undergoing legal disputes for assault charges.
Why the legal dispute:
From my brief research (1 article on Google), it seems that there had been an event before The Fight where McGregor and his team had flown to Russia and disturbed Khabib’s crew and thrown a trolley into Khabib’s travel bus which led to injuries sustained by Khabib’s team.

Now why the effort Connor?
It seems the story is that Khabib had had a dispute with McGregor’s inner circle where Khabib had slapped Artem Lobov, CM’s main sparring partner and probably bumchum (fwends), after Khabib had talked a lot of smack about McGregor.
So now that Khabib has made his point by making CM submit ... it seems that the UFC title still just isn’t enough.
The battle of ego and tribe extends beyond the ring now ... I look forward to see what happens.
It was great TV by all accounts.
I think Conner seriously tried to throw khabib of his game with all his pre-match trash talk "i'll shatter yeww like glaass" But Conner was silenced in the ring
