The World Has Lost Another Bright Star

I woke up this morning to find lots of tributes to Dale Winton in my Facebook newsfeed from my friends in the UK. Such sad news. He was just 62, which is no age to die. 

I spent most of my early years in England. In the 90s he presented this iconic game show on television there- Supermarket Sweep. Contestants had to grab as many items as they could from the shelves of this mock supermarket in a short amount of time and whoever had items of the most value went through to the next round. Honestly, it brought me so much joy. As did Dale. 

A sad loss to the entertainment industry that's for sure. May he rest in peace.
