Christine Charmaine Epa May 5, 2019 in Writing Sorrow into Triumph I think it’s our human nature to respond in a way that makes us seem better than we actually are; flashing a smile, jumping around, throwing thumbs up every chance we get. We are hard wired to seem like we have it all together, but seeming all together and okay and actually being okay are two different things. I’m not saying that any of those things are wrong. Be a happy person but if you’re constantly trying to prove you’re okay to others, that’s probably a good indicator that you aren’t. Christine Charmaine Epa Apr 25, 2019 in Advice He Just Wants You God doesn’t just want part of you, but He wants the whole you, the darkest moments, your heart open wide no matter what is inside. Because, “He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.” You are far too loved to continue to hide in your darkness, to live without hope. Rend open your heart, return to Him, for who knows whether He will leave a blessing in return? I’m praying for someone to be impacted by this as I was - yet even now, You are Loved!
Christine Charmaine Epa Apr 24, 2019 in Advice Significant hurt A heart that’s been broke is a heart that’s been loved. A night sky is one that was previously exposed to the light of the day. Significant hurt is a sign that there was once deep love, so don’t treat your past and present failures as boundaries. Treat your failures as doorways. They may be signs that things have once gone wrong, but God is in the business of making all things new. Our lives are a Story of God’s constant Faithfulness. The One who calls you is Faithful, and He will do it.
