Anyone else here a smoothie addict?
I'm super busy running around that in the mornings it's sometimes hard to eat breakfast. What I've started to try and get into the habit of doing is making a morning smoothie. The green ones are the best as they have loads of iron and protein in them. What's more, they're so easy to make vegan. Just substitute regular old nasty dairy for creamy coconut milk or Alpro yoghurt.
Here's my recipe:
1 ripe banana 🍌
A handful of spinach leaves
1 teaspoon turmeric powder (or a couple of small chunks of turmeric root if you can get it)
300ml of a milk alternative. I prefer coconut milk as it's creamy and sweet)
Optional squeeze of Agave syrup
