The untouched beauty of Santol,La Union, Philippines

La Union is a coastal province in the Ilocos Region here in the Philippines. Many tourists and locals were captivated by the majestic seas and oceans but few know the magical beauty of its mountainous area. 

This breath taking scene is the boundary of La Union province and Benguet where the famous Summer Capital of the Philippines is located ( Baguio City). 

I can say that this view from Barangay Ramot in Santol, La Union is one of the best that I've seen. The fact that you will need to go to the mountain top to reach this spot is what trully amazes me. 

What lies in these majestic mountains are the water falls oozing with calmness and peace. There are five (5) water falls here in the municipality of Santol. 

Among the water Falls that we visited, the Bulalakaw Falls is the biggest. The time of our visit is dry season and water flow isn't that much. But still this piece of nature is trully enticing! 

At that very moment while I'm in Santol, I cannot stop myself to be alured by the charm it has.
