From shitty beats, to clean remixes
So guys, one of my many hobbies is making music and i've been at it for about 5 years now.
When i started out back in 2013 (with FL Studio 9) I was clueless about music composition, let alone how to navigate my way around the application
From shitty beats, to clean remixes
But right now, after over about a million failed attempts to make music, I cam say i've improved 200% - THROUGH FAILING
LOL
Success and failure is just based on your mentality, because you can succeed the first time you try (rarely) or take failure as a drive to try again harder next time. Through errors you'll know what NOT to do and what TO do.
So here is my submission for a remix contest for Charlotte Cardin's California (It's a great song) and i had fun working on it.
I built the beat around these amazing vocals, and spent time to get the chords right. Let me know what you think!
Also if you're a new producer, hit me with questions, i'll be glad to help💯

Hello Sammy, i've been trying to produce music with this software as well but ends up giving up cause i dont know how to play any musical instruments, i've watched countless youtube tutorial videos, still i couldnt do it...I'm not givin up though... HOW DO I PLAY YOUR DEMO...I CANT PLAY THE VIDEO YOU POST OR IS THAT JUST A SCREENSHOT
Trust me i have no idea how to play any instruments properly😂 I learnt this program with nobody experienced help (this is 5 years) so i know a lot of tricks. Thats a screenshot, the links at the bottom, my bad 😅
I dont see any link
Wait i see it now...great beat...whats the app name btw..i kinda want to join the contest but but and but...haha
FL Studio 12.4 😇
Im asking about the app for that contest not the software u use to produce the song
Hey bro! I'm a producer too, using the same software as you, keep it up man!!
Ayee man! Nice to meet a fellow producer 💯💯 Thank you, i'll try to keep it going🔥
Hey man just had a listen to your song, it's really good! I'm in the same situation haha been playing around with FL for 7 years now and I'm only just starting to make some good stuff! Takes a long time to get good at this sort of thing aye!
Aye man thank you!! It indeed takes so long man, i've spent countless hours on mixing and now just getting the hang of mastering as well. I look forward to hearing your stuff👀🔥👍
Nice! I tried making beats and sucked so bad at it lol. How long did it take you to get to a point where you felt you were good?
Try again haha it's awesome when you get the hang! 2017 was the year. There's that point where it became fun and some method's which I made up and i had practiced a lot are very easy for me now. It took a lot of errors like i said, and i had nobody who knew the program i'm using so that was the big problem 😂 I feel at almost my prime level right now , enjoying it💯
