We live in a modern age with powerful tech, unique lifestyles, different mindsets, advanced youth, and destruction.

How would we expect destruction from such a divine generation? It's because we're blinded by the truth. Constantly on our screens, looking through posts that resembles a perfect life, but it's not. Everything that is posted online is just an illusion to create an image of a better lifestyle. Behind that screen, the truth is hidden in the corner. And most of us don't even dare to shine light towards it. Because we love the lie we live in now, we love the fake images portrayed and we dream to become like that one day, but it won't be all fun and games when it comes to it. Fame, success, wealth, won't be as good as it looks. Soon, they overcome you, and soon, destruction is cast upon you. How? Depression.

Depression is not a joke. And recently, some of our icons left the world, because they thought that was the only way out. Because they thought, they were alone. Because they thought, no one could understand them.

Suicide rates are on the rise, but yet some of us find it the least important but in reality, we should make it as a priority.

Depression leads to suicide, because we feel that no one would care for us if we leave the world. Or, it's better if we leave to remove a burden from the society.

And all of this, is not true. Suicide is not the only way to get out from depression, suicide is not even a choice to begin with. Leaving the world to get away from the pain, is just passing on the pain to those who loved them. As humans, we should take the rights to help those in need. These people are fragile and they really need someone to show love and care towards them, because that is what they feel they're lacking of.

It begins from depression. Anything can lead to depression, even fame and wealth. Being famous is not the ideal life you want to live. When you are in that zone, you have to constantly entertain your fans, because that's where you earn fame. But portraying the image your fans want to see is not helping yourself in becoming what you want to be in your life. You can't live a normal life because you're stuck, in an endless loop, for others to enjoy. With that, we'll feel hopeless, and helpless. Having constant pressure from managers and workers. Which then leads to depression, and suicide.

Entertainment is not the only subject. Working, teaching, learning, everything can lead to it. But how?

It's the people. Who keeps on pressuring others, and not understanding other people's needs just because they want to satisfy their own. It might seems a little, but it leads to intense pain mentally. This pain leads to physical self-abuse by slicing their hands, or anywhere to release the pain, because they think that they can't tell anyone about their problems to. They think that they're alone. And the final decision, taking the life of their own.

I have met tons of teens with depression and i can conclude that it started because they feel that they're hopeless and helpless, unaware of the people that care for them, and feel like a burden to society.

And the most important thing that can ruin a person's life, is the family they have. Having misunderstanding family members or abusive ones. That's the main point of depression.

So what can we do? We can start by helping out those who have shown little signs of change, through their attitude, expressions, lifestyle, clothing, the way they eat, the social life. The least we can do is listen to them. Listen to their problems, be a shoulder for them to cry on, to let them know that they're not alone, and they are appreciated and cared for in the world. It's a simple saying of "if you need anything, I'm here for you."

Other than that, be a good friend. Always take care of them, make them smile, make them feel that life has a purpose, a purpose to keep on moving forward.

We can do anything to put a stop to this. But before we do that, we have to start understanding the truth of the world.

Be there for those who needs it.

I hope i helped a bit. Love to get feedbacks to those who've read through all of it because i feel like this is a topic we should tackle on and let the people know and help to create a better community.

thanks
