The AFL has been extremely intriguing so far this season. With teams such as Collingwood and the Eagles playing a lot better than everyone thought they would, and the Saints and Melbourne disappointing, this season is proving be as unpredictable as ever.

According to Richmond there’s no such thing as a premiership hangover, and Adelaide are making do with an ever growing injury list. North are performing well above expectations and Freo are busy making the new Optus Stadium their new fortress.

But what is there to come for the rest of the season? It’s particularly hard to tell, with there being many upsets thus far and most likely many more to come. At this stage I expect Richmond and Adelaide to remain up the top, with many players still to return the Crows are my tip for the flag. Watch out for the usual Swans and GWS to contend and maybe even the Pies as a smokey.
