What is beauty?

Beauty is a constant changing idea that evolves around the world we live in and the technology we possess. It’s a ridiculous notion that only the selected of their surroundings can hold the title. 

Regardless of the ones with brown eyes, the ones with the short hair, the ones with the potential.

Society tells us how to view beauty at every minute of everyday. The visual images at our fingertips. 

What about those that don’t fit into society’s norms?

What about the big? The small? 

The world teaches us to chase for an image that we’re never going to reach rather than to accept the image we hold today. 

This idea of beauty. It’s not just the basic black and white of a newspaper. It’s the grey in between, it’s the undertones trying to break through. 

There’s so much beauty around us that we do not see because we are taught not to look. To only focus on those plastered over billboards, magazines and TV programs.

What is beauty?

It’s everything around us, if we’d just open our eyes up and see.
