Bloc Party’s Silent Alarm Tour

Can I just say how excited I am for this tour? Bloc Party’s first album, Silent Alarm, came out in 2005 when Indie Brit pop was taking the world by storm. Personally, as an 14 year old wannabe indie rocker, I genuinely LOVED this album. Kele’s singing, the guitar riffs, the emo/angsty lyrics - checked all the boxes for me! 

Unfortunately, Bloc Party’s subsequent albums kept missing the mark for me. They lost their raw ‘recorded this in my garage’ sound and retreated to a more produced eclectic sound. 

Now they’re back and touring performing their first (and best) album!! Give it a listen, it’s really good! You best believe I’m getting a ticket to the Melbourne show when they’re on sale!
