Karen Feb 5, 2019 in Health Global warming / climate change If politicians aren’t going to do anything about global warming and climate change, then we need to start making actions in order to slow down the process of global warming happening. I get it, adults now won’t probably be alive by the time the earth’s average temperature increases by 3-4 degrees Celsius. But if you have kids, you are just making it harder for them to live, making your children’s lives way shorter than it should actually be! Look, we only have approximately around 21 year until the average temperature increases by 2 degrees and 2 degrees is a big number! 1/3 of the human populating could get swiped out! Please help us slow down the process of global warming...

Success depends on the ability to delay gratification, which is precisely what a consumerist culture undermines. At every stage, the emphasis is on the instant gratification of instinct. In the words of the pop group Queen, “I want it all and I want it now.” A whole culture is being infantilised.
