🌨 to the stranger on the busy bus 🌨

everyday we sit here on this bus and I pretend to ignore you, but everyday you make it impossible. because everyday, we share shy smiles, like we know something the world doesn't–– an inside joke between my heart and yours.  and everyday, in my faraway mind, between the sleep and lack of, you and I have already lived enough lifetimes to get me through this one.  but for now, this is my stop.  I’ll see you tomorrow.  - c

Notes On "Walk.Ride.Rodeo"

One of my favorite films ever is "Walk.Ride.Rodeo". At one point it could be found on Netflix, but given that at times they remove content, I can't promise it's still on there now, though there is no harm in checking of course. Anyway, it's a biopic of Amberley Snyder. For those who don't know who she is, she is a rodeo star who was paralyzed in a truck accident in 2010. I also like his storytelling style. The Grand Budapest Hotel is, in my opinion, one of his best work. It’s not heavy—you don’t have to think hard to get the film—and it’s not “cheap”. It’s captivating in its own way. Sure, its plot is not the best and...

Mistake

An update on my last post about watching the original Halloween on tv. Well turns out that for some reason the owners of the place I’m staying just leave TV guides around??? If you haven’t already guessed,  I was reading the wrong TV guide when I “learnt” the original Halloween would be on tonight. So instead of getting cozy to watch one of my favourite horror flicks I was UNpleasantly surprised with more reruns of Mama’s family. God dammit I hate that show. Anyways night ruined, tomorrow I’m going to try connect my computer to the tv and rent something on iTunes.  Tell me some of your favourite spooky movies 🎥 🍿!
