I remember calling her my home, the warmth of her body sheltered me from the storms made of crushed bones and childhood and orange bottles. I found her favorite handkerchief in my closet, the one she handed me so I could clean myself up after throwing up at the bar where we first met. Sure, it was an embarrassing first date. She brought a lighter all the time, but she never smoked. She loved to sing, Sinatra was her favorite.  Her voice was a Valentine's Day card that played music of romance and celebration, of love and serendipity. Excerpt 1

“He's going to walk away. He's going to leave me. And I'm not sure if I should stop him. Some relationships are toxic. Trying to maintain them for the sake of it is like allowing a disease to eat away at you when you hold the antidote. That's what it boils down to, isn't it? I'm going to ruin this. I am ruining this. New Book: "Someday"

Just started reading the new book by David Levithan. "Someday",  is the much awaited sequel to "Everyday" of the same author, which by the way is made into a movie and I still have yet to watch 😂. Since I don't want to be a spoiler of a good book,  all I have to say is it's all worth the wait, atleast for me that is.  It still gives me the feeling of wanting to just cry out even if I'm in public. I love reading each pages slowly to digest each scene clearly.  You will fall inlove more in the different characters. Hope to finish this book soon and hope by that time I have someone to talk here about it. 💕

But for some who are with organizations/associations that hire reviewers, they are getting paid a certain amount. As for me, I am...
