Liv Jul 3, 2018 in Gaming Starting Out As A Twitch Streamer. Twitch is something I always wanted to experience but never thought I would be ableto due to lack of equipment/pc upgrades. I asked my sister if I could borrow her Webcam about a week ago and I set up an account on Twitch and I have not regretted it. First off, let me just say. The amount of times I have had people say "you're a girl though" as their way of saying it would be easier for me than it is for guys is ridiculous. Being a girl has honestly not helped me since I began twitch. As you can see from the picture above, I streamed for seven hours straight, while drunk so I was talking a lot and in a group so it was hopefully less boring than my usual streams and only five people...
Liv Jul 3, 2018 in Technology Samsung Galaxy S6 vs Sony Xperia XA1 (Phone Review) Three years ago I bought a Samsung Galaxy S6 second hand for $530 (this included a life proof case and a wireless charger) . It was perfect condition aside from a couple of scuffs on the edges (which I always wore a case over anyway). Recently I had to lay the poor baby to rest as it had run its course, the back camera lost its quality, battery didn't last long anymore, keyboard was burnt into the screen and the charger USB port was broken. Before I get into any detail I must inform you I am no technology whizz, I don't study IT or anything like that so this review is all based on personal preference and experience. So please don't judge or hate on me, thank you. Which brings me to...
Liv May 19, 2018 in Tips and Tricks Instagram: 10 Tips and Tricks for Gaining Followers. A lot of people go through so much to get followers. But how far do your efforts actually take you? I know I have spent way too much time caring about my follower count. Here are my issues/methods: 1. Unfollowers. We try to get people to notice us by using hashtags and sometimes it works. We have people follow us for a little while but then they unfollow you unless you follow them back. But let's be honest, who wants to follow people back unless you generally like their account, it's a bit anti-productive. 2. Daily Posting It is important to have content everyday, but if you're busy or not in a picture mood then what do we do? There is always the option of having old pictures...
Liv May 19, 2018 in Entertainment 13 Reasons Why - Alex Theory. (Season Two) I am only up to episode four of season two so I will be avoiding spoilers (I will be saying one fact that you won't know if you haven't seen episode one), I don't know much myself and if you have watched them all then maybe my theory has already been shown or discussed on the show. I just have a small theory about Alex. Other people have probably brought this up or theorized it so please don't get annoyed if you thought this was going to be extremely insightful and it's not. At the end of season one we all heard that Alex shot himself. The big cliff hanger of 'is Alex still alive'. Now this is the one spoiler that I will tell, but it isn't that big because it is almost the first...
Liv May 5, 2018 in Gaming Gamer Journey As I kid I grew up gaming. I am lucky to have three older siblings who are also gamers. This meant that I got to watch and learn from them while growing up. Although this also meant I rarely got a turn to game myself. When I did game I would play simple games such as Sims, Minecraft, Need for Speed or Emulated GBA Pokemon (fire red, emerald, etc). As I grew up I didn't really get more into gaming due to me not having my own computer or money to buy one. Until one day when I was about 14, I came home to an old pc sitting on my floor. My oldest brother had brought it home for me from his work. It wasnt capable of gaming. It couldn't even play Minecraft on the lowest settings. So it was...
Liv May 2, 2018 in Fashion Clothing Wonderland! (My thrift shop experience) I love clothes and I love buying things. Money is slim for me. I recently moved away from home and haven't quite settled down enough to go job searching. So thrift shopping is way more useful to me now more than ever. However, that is not why I do it. I could be rich and I would still enjoy a good thrifting. "Why?" You ask. Well let me tell you. Thrift Shopping is like a lucky dip. Usually we go into branded shops where they have their specific style and we can expect a certain type of clothing there. When you're in a second hand shop you get a variety of clothes from different brands and places. I do admit, some thrift shops are better than others, so you wont always find the dime...
Liv May 2, 2018 in Fashion What is your style? Ever wanted to wear something but worried if it suited you? Don't worry, you're not alone. Lately I have been conflicted about what my "style" is. I have been through so many different fashion phases. I can't decide. I guess it depends on my mood? Who knows. I believe you should wear what you feel good in. Confidence is important. The next ponder is how much do opinions really matter to you? What your family, friends and strangers think. Judgement of others makes a huge impact on so many choices we make in life. I am luckily from a very accepting family and my friends support me no matter what. Honestly strangers opinions don't bother me at all so I ignore that factor completely. ...
Liv May 1, 2018 Leaving My Existence Moving away from home when you're on your last year of school is hard. Before moving in Decemeber last year I had lived it the same house the duration of my 17 years on this earth. Therefore my decision to move was difficult. Yes, I decided on my own that I was going to move, I didn't move with my family. I didn't have family issues, I wasn't bullied, I have an amazing best friend and I passed everything in school. So, why did I move? Honestly I still ask myself this and often regret my decision. It all comes down to myself and the way I was feeling and dealing with emotions. I was always feeling down and I started skipping school 3 days a week due to the fact it was just so easy...
Liv May 1, 2018 in Gaming World Of Cosplay ♡ One of my biggest passions in life is cosplay. I actually haven't been doing it for very long, only two years, but after my first time at a convention dressed up, I was hooked. Cosplay, sadly, is costly. Yes, you can do cheap low budget cosplays. However I am a bit of a perfectionist so I love using EVA foam and worbla. For my Mercy cosplay I made a mechanical rotating, LED light staff. I have been surprised by the lack of knowledge some people have had on cosplay. Some not knowing what it is. Some saying they couldn't do it because they didn't have the right body size. I want to make something clear right now. Cosplayers are very accepting. I have never met a cosplayer who...
